I vote for that mega expert salavage thing to have an option that lets you choose what you want to salvage out of an item.

My guild mates have bad luck salvaging too. Fiery xx Fortitude? They get the fiery hilt

They pretty much asks me to salvage all of their stuff. So far so good... only one bad salvage so far (knock on wood).

I never salvage anymore. I just sell as is.

It's usually less than the mod, but it's guaranteed.

Plus, sup abs hit the 100k mark just as it happened and I'd seen someone selling one for 75k 10 minutes earlier so it was a double whammy

I ended up spending over 200k in one night getting my 15k armor, runes and dye combination I wanted.

So basically you "WTS" gold item unidentified? I tried this in LA 1 the other night and was basically to to go away coz no one was interested and I should id them first.

That's nonsense, since you can also lose mods after you applied them to a weapon and later chose to salvage this weapon again. At least this is a clear case of LOSING a mod.

I lost a Superior Absorption and a Superior Vigor rune this past weekend after I bought new armor. 170K gone in 10 seconds. Both minors salvaged of course.
